The appeal from the judgment of the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, Number CAC 255435, 2006 NSCA 112, dated October 19, 2006, heard on February 25, 2008, is allowed. The order for a new trial is set aside and the acquittal is restored.
L’appel interjeté contre l’arrêt de la Cour d’appel de la Nouvelle-Écosse, numéro CAC 255435, 2006 NSCA 112, en date du 19 octobre 2006, entendu le 25 février 2008, est accueilli. L’ordonnance visant la tenue d’un nouveau procès est annulée et le verdict d’acquittement est rétabli.
