La demande d’autorisation d’appel de Mario Denis de l’arrêt de la Cour d’appel du Québec (Montréal), numéros 500-10-007687-211 et 500-10-007898-222, 2024 QCCA 647, daté du 24 mai 2024, est rejetée et la demande d’autorisation d’appel du Procureur général du Québec est accueillie, la portée de l’appel se limitera uniquement à la question portant sur la déclaration d’inconstitutionnalité de la peine prévue au paragraphe 286.1(2) du Code criminel. |

JUDGMENT
The application for leave to appeal of Mario Denis from the judgment of the Court of Appeal of Quebec (Montréal), Numbers 500-10-007687-211 and 500-10-007898-222, 2024 QCCA 647, dated May 24, 2024, is dismissed and the application for leave to appeal of the Attorney General of Quebec is granted, the scope of the appeal will be limited solely to the question on the declaration of unconstitutionality of the sentence provided for in section 286.1(2) of the Criminal Code. |
